what do you not like about 30a?

pretty much every town along 30a has its own charm. the beaches are some of the best in the world, they are not crowded...no poors around. Alys beach is pretty much the top 0.1% with what it cost.

seaside is a little crowded but not really on the beach, more just at the food trucks

lots of great golf in the area, great places to go eat, pretty good fishing etc

what more you looking for?

i mean really only packed around seaside and that is only around the food trucks. the beaches are not nearly as packed as places like destin or the bama beaches.

and once you get past seaside its not really packed at all. sure places like the big chill can get crowded but not really too much or anything.

I'll take Cooper's beach all day, every day over anything in Florida.

we go in july and its not that crowded at all. we stay in watersound/seacrest areas and a lot of the places are private beaches. sure they are not deserted or anything but not other places for sure

not even 1 deep, much less 3 deep like gulf shores or other places with the big resorts.

The poors go to the beach during the summer. The not poors go in the early spring/fall when it's not too hot.

This is so true, i just didn’t realize it growing up and thought everyone was supposed to go to the beach in July:

umm the actual beach....umm yea they are. I have been to beaches all over the world and the gulf coach beaches on 30a have the best sand and the water is also better than anything outside of the Caribbean.

now if talking the overall scenery its hard to beat Hawaii or other pacific islands and Maui is prolly my overall favorite just because there are so many great things to do but the gulf beaches are better than anything else. much better than mexico or anything in South America imo.

ot really

umm yea there is. Can catch one of the nice alabama courses on the way in and plenty of good courses in florida panhandle. sure they are not Augusta National but they are nice.

plus you are away from culture....also on 30a you weed out the people that think gulf shores is an expensive trip and the whole white trash and redneck culture that comes with that.

None of the ones that have public access are like top 1000 in the US, much less the world

Florida resident since 18.

I grow Coconuts and Pineapples in my back yard. We got Walkons, Canes, Camelia beans, and Abita.

Moved from Metairie to Miami to be here. Strong economy. Wife found a job in 30 days of being here

I'm sure he'll love it- it was just an example of "inland" Florida that I'm not sure I would love. Granted you are never far away from saltwater in Florida, I just prefer to be on the coast

tell me where the best beaches are then...because i have been to them all over the world....but im sure you know best

i can tell you the actual beaches in florida are better than any pacific island, any of the carribean islands, or any of the atlantic beaches. They are better than all the beaches in mexico too.

im talking the actual beach....i.e. the sand and the water...not anything else.

i dont care where they are ranked. im not a pro, and places like Kiva Dunes is plenty nice enough for a round.

yea, dude i been all over the US, been to plenty of places in the Caribbean, plenty in mexico and 30a is awesome

sure maui is awesome but it is also a huge freaking pain in the arse to get to and the beaches are not that great. the sand sucks, the water aint that great. same for the big island and waikiki.

i know you think its cool to shite on pretty much everywhere so why dont you tell us where you think is awesome
