Why do men age like wine but women age like milk?

My guess is that a gay man would feel this way.

As a heterosexual male I feel exactly the opposite way about women and haven't considered how men age.

Men do tend to age more gracefully. I have to wonder if child bearing has anything to do with that or just the sheer amount of chemicals women put on their face over their lifetime.

20's and 30's? Good looking girls are plenty good looking I n their 20's and 30's if they take care of themselves. shite, even into 40's.

After though, shite goes downhill fast.

In their 20's, women have the upper hand over men the same age. Then, in our 50's and 60's, it's payback time--a decent looking, halfway pleasant and intelligent man attracts younger women, while women in that age group are either unhappily married or ... unhappily single.

Blame evolution. Back when life was tougher, human life needed men to be able to spread their seed over a longer period of time. To do that they needed to be attractive to a mate, so they aged better. On the other side of the fence, men needed to know whether the woman they were about to plow was fertile or not, so they age quite quickly after optimal child bearing age so the man can say "nope, not hitting this" and find a younger, fertile chick.
