You aren't very informed on the Red Cross are you. I've worked with them. They easily identify a building and move in what material is necessary.

Funny you say that- I was just telling my SO that I wanted to request to change my name because it does sound girly.

They do have designated places.

Honestly, I am not. I know they come in and get things moving. I've heard people complain about them, especially last year during the flood, but it was a situation in which people meant well, but should have known better.

For example, this guy I know.. His wife decided to cook a huge pot of jambalaya and prepared other shite to bring to red cross and she was informed by Red Cross that they didn't take food that was not in unopened containers.

That makes sense to me. If Red Cross would take anything that people cooked and just started giving it out to people and there was something in the food that made everyone sick then that would be on them. It's good so many people are willing to help, but people should be more aware of how their time and money can have the biggest impact.

Now that you mentioned it, he does seem proud to say he can "suck it off". Good catch.
