They look past the problems that future generations face. They contradict themselves with their bullshite agendas and ignorant propaganda. The GOP is a mess. Debt is out of control. They flaunt their degrees that cost them $1000. This is not a flame thread however I would like to know where the baby boomers went wrong. They say that the new generations are spoiled but I disagree.
Don't even mention the old selfish basted that run the unions. As long as the "Senior" ppl are taking care of that's all that matters. Never mind them being some of the laziest ppl in the plant. They'er special because they been here longer.

LOL.
Uhhh, according to your brilliant meme, you are actually talking down to people for asking for the share of the items they've ALREADY PAID FOR.
Do you have a job and actually pay taxes? Chances are good today you probably don't, considering only about 51% of us are footing the bill.
However, if you do and are "fortunate" like me, you will see on your check that you pay taxes towards SS and medicare. Baby Boomers have been paying into that shite for well over 40+ years. When these programs were created, some government idiot, similar to Obama and Obamacare, promised all of these goodies that would come from this long-term "investment".
Now, like every other government program, it is going broke because people like Obama have given the money away to buy votes in other areas.
Now, the same people you are attempting to play "gotcha" with, are asking for some of their money back....as promised....
Yet here you are, just like so many others in the US, with your completely UNEDUCATED meme about "greed". LOL

Your image link speaks volumes of your ignorance.
SS and Medicare are a handout to you? Guess I haven't paid into the system for the last 40 years. I know this will be new to you, but once you get a job, take a look at the deductions. You will be surprised to learn that taxes and other deductions are taken out for governmental programs such as SS and Medicare. I'm just getting a portion of my money back, Junior.
Never fails to amaze me......
Boomers are such idiots. Their generation is the only one ignorant enough to believe their own propaganda and it frustrates them that it's starting not to work on the more informed younger generations.
The first boomers entering the workforce in the mid sixties paid $174 A YEAR in SS/medicare taxes if they maxed out on the income ceiling. This started increasing every year but it still would have taken 15 years for a boomer starting to work in 1965 to pay in the same amount of SS/medicare tax that I paid in this year alone if they had paid in the maximum every year.
That's not adjusted for inflation, but how is that for an investment return you greedy MFers? Pretty good return on your investment being you're raking in probably $25,000 a year in social security payments alone.
Then your elected lap dog Bush got your drug coverage upped on Medicare so you're raking in tens of thousands of dollars a year in medical coverage when you only paid in pennies on the dollar for that benefit.
The biggest dead beat, greedy, government supported generation in the history of our country.

The sure can complain plenty, but don't ask them for specifics on the debt, the economy, etc.
Please, sir, diagnose the national debt issue for us.
Note: the above poster is a SHITBOOMER. His attempt to explain the origin of the national debt should be fricking priceless.

You guys in this generation sure are smart!
Broke, entitled, and without alot of future prospects. But you sure as hell got those old folks figured out.
You're arguing with a bunch of 30 somethings, for the most part, fwiw. Most of them also with credit debt, student loan debt, etc... It's not a board full of boomers.

Why do you think this generation is broke, dumbass?

Blaming an entire generation for where we are today is a bit much. I doubt these people tried to screw things up. No one can see into the future.
Years from now someone will be blaming our generation for something we can't predict.
Quit whining.
Work hard and prosper :-)

LOL. Broke? Give me a break. The Greatest Generation in the 30's was broke. If this generation had to face poverty on the level faced by them the suicide rate would go through the roof.

If given the opportunity today to not be forced to pay SS/medicare and in return never be able to draw from it, I and a vast majority of my peers wouldn't do it because I'm capable of taking care of myself. It's not like SS will still be around when I get to the age to get it.

Mostly irresponsible politicians undermining the will of their constituency for their own personal gain. But only a total fricking moron would equate the actions of select politicians and judges to an entire generation, as if they governed by the will of the people and not for their own self serving reasons.
I'm closer in age to you than I am to any Boomer, and my bank account and job stability are great. As are most of my friends and acquaintances, and most of those in this thread who aren't whining like little bitches blaming their problems on their parents generation. Opportunities exist, they just may not align with your wants. That's on you.

Politicians only matter at the margins. The major policies that destroyed this country--like the wars that we're currently involved in and the mortgage policies that crashed the housing market--were desired by the masses.

Don't worry. I went to a better college and grad school than you did and make more money than you do. Shitboomers haven't affected me. But it doesn't mean they aren't greedy fricks that fricked up the United States.
