There was a period where the Popeyes on transcontinental was where all of the managers in training came to cut their teeth, and at the same time it was a test restaurant for potential new items. Service was always excellent and there were some interesting menu items.
That location has now fallen to shite with the rest of them though

They do, but they just need to cook another batch and people will usually wait. That seems to be a Popeyes thing. But if they said they were out of chicken, that would get ugly around here.
