No, and they will never start production. They were able to block Land Rover from coming in and using the old Shreveport G.M. plant too.

Because the company was probably not willing to grease the palms of all the politicians required to get support for whatever they need from the state in order to do business here.

Seriously, the political environment of this state doesn't really appeal to companies and because of it, Louisiana will always have trouble attracting any other industries than the ones we already have.

Because of the statues in New Orleans were taken down.
