I'm sure if you bring a note from your doctor, they'll let you just do the lady test.

Uh, most people wouldn't be able to carry him, including many of the male Marines he serves with.

Yet women in the military want to be treated the same as men.
I remember one time, for a while in ‘89 I worked with this complete, raving bitch who was a pain to everyone she came in contact with. We were loading a C-130 with our shite headed to God knows where and every man was carrying their Plano type boxes themselves (large plastic box that’s waterproof) they were probably 100 pounds each. Heavy but not impossible. She told me to help her carry hers, my response left her speechless - I told her that her three stripes and mine ought to carry the same weight.
She didn’t speak to me the entire 179 day tdy it was glorious.

As a vet myself, this is petty and shitty. You look out for your brothers and sisters, not shun them.

The standards aren't different on the ACFT.
It's easy to pass but nearly impossible to max.
The only difference in standards on the ACFT are by rank and MOS.

Absolutely

The ACFT, which is a retarded idea on its own merits, does not distinguish gender or age but proxmity to combat arms MOS's in setting the minimal standards
Prior to COVID, the failure rate on the ACFT in basic was 35% for males and 86% for females.
The most common events women fail are the medicine ball toss and the deadlift, mostly due to poor technique.

Is the leg tuck causing issues for both genders? Honestly glad I retired when I did, as I don’t think my body would have held up with the different types of training needed for the ACFT.

Leg tuck is also a technique issue. Once you realize you can swing your legs it's much easier.

How about the physical standards to be a fire fighter?

Also; no women do not belong in combat roles. When I was in Iraq, there was a female Marine ‘project’ called the “lionesses” or some shite. They were in charge of searching female insurgents. They were constantly fricking shite up and always drama within that little group of however many.

I’ve seen some Sergeants and Staff NCOs “look out” for their sisters. Any decent looking Marine girl gets passed around by the company Staff NCOs, and makes Meritorious Sergeant in 3 years and SSGT in 5.

Pretty females that deploy usually turn into a problem.

Once upon a time and even today there is still a need to have women in certain roles; nurses and clerks primarily. The Army APFT which I don't think has changed since the 1970s, would measure the lowest level of military fitness. The expectations were always lower for women but so were the expectations for them in combat.
The same reason there are different standards for age.
Most combat units will raise the standard either officially or unofficially. Long distance running always took a precedence over other athletic abilities in the combat units I was with.
The differences are based on assumptions at the time as to where on the battlefield women and older Soldiers would be.

At least there's an actual reason for separate PT standards even if I don't agree with it. What irritated me more was 670-1 (uniform and grooming standards). If I have to have this dumb arse haircut for 'uniformity and hygiene' standards then everyone else should have to get a dumb arse haircut as implied by the word 'uniformity'. I can't go two weeks without chopping it off but I can go to the PX and see 'soldiers' with weaves, extensions, and 2 inch long manicured nails (with tassels and glitter and shite attached to them). A lot of that isn't technically allowed for them either but people are too afraid of EO complaints to correct them.

It was a long time ago but when I was in the military the scale on PT tests was also scaled down the older you are. I believe the numbers changed every 5 or so years by age.

Because women are equal to men!
Wait...that can't be it.
