Why are so many folks on TV cop shows shirtless?

Live PD, Cops, First 48, etc...always feature dirtbags without shirts.
Now...they aren’t always the perp, but they’re always around when shenanigans go down.
And why aren’t they given an opportunity to get a shirt on before going in for questioning?

If I dont absolutely have to have a shirt on, then I typically won’t. I sleep butt arse naked too.
