most of these are fundamental rights that we as Americans hold to be a foundation of our country. We fought the revolutionary war in order to establish these rights and we damn well should not forget that.

Why do people whine about what other people care about if they care about things "that aren't a big part" of the whiner's life anyway?

Taxes, I agree.

Abortion (while I do not believe in it personally, it has been decided by the Supreme Court, which makes it non-political).

Guns are an every day part of my life. Every single day.

Religion is a very consistent part of life. Will be at church or listening to Cavins for several hours this week. This is not unusual.

Many of the things you are suggesting are very signicant in most southerners lives.
