Worst part is tax payers are paying for the food, housing, gastric bypass surgery and skin surgery...

They're poor because of several reasons but I can think of two right off the top of my head.
1 on one wants to hire someone that fat to work for them. The assumption would be laziness and not wanting your workforce to look bad.
2 they're basically disabled since they can't get around.
