We need a report on the level of trashiness out there today/tonight.

Let's have it.

We've done the fireworks at L'auberge the last two years (including tonight). It's a lot smaller crowd. As far as trashy, it was about the same ratio as people of Baton Rouge.

I think downtown will be a lot more trashy. (I haven't done that in 25 years).

We did NOLA City Park Sunday night. Tons of people w lawn chairs and blankets sipping beers and listening to the Marine Band. There wasn't the first sign of trashiness. Great crowd and great fireworks display.

Did they do fireworks over the Mississippi? I drove over the new bridge around 9:20 and saw no fireworks at all.

I might do that next year at Lauberge. I figured it'd be busy this year and I haven't ever heard reviews about it. Aside from the fireworks was it really busy?

You should have stopped and gotten a better view. Traffic is so sparse up there nobody would have minded.

You should have been on the bridge 10-15 min earlier since the show did end around that time.

I was on L'Auberge roof for the fire works. A beam that runs along the top of the roof blocked a lot of the fire works. Wasn't worth the price of admission.
