I think Sue Ellen was the only ever drunk on that show.

And based on what I saw going to my grandfather's office in the late 70's and early 80's, drinking in the office was very common back then. He had a full bar in his office and it was customary for the floor to come to his office after lunch for a drink or two. Gonna start a re-watch tonight.
