Does yours have the ball? I had trouble with the rubber ring staying on the outside lip of the ball. It was constantly come off and cause that side of the ball to get stuck. I returned it and got a shark instead.

Ohhhh, I bet you had fun for the next couple of years telling them no. Had a friend give my name and number to a Rainbow salesman and I wanted to strangle him.

I've had the same experience with a Shark. I have a lab who can deposit a pile of hair just walking across the room. Our Shark is a lifesaver!

I have to second the Neato. We rarely have to vacuum now days.

I shopped around for these a few years ago and went with the Hoover LINX cordless.



I like Dyson, but the smaller cordless is flimsy and the battery life isn't as long.
