There is a good place to eat there called the grapevine. And the drive from there to BR isn't that bad. I use to work in Gonzales and most of the time would go through Donaldsonville. And I would rather drive from Donaldsonville to Baton Rouge, than from Plaquemine to BR..

I would take the ferry sometimes. Once I was on the other side of the river it was about a 20 min drive for me, but I didn't like the inconsistency in time when taking the ferry.

I'm 10-15 minutes away from my office. My wife is like 5 minutes away from hers. I grew up in the burbs and enjoy the small town feel but I just can't stand the traffic.

I know a couple.I went to High School with both.

She's the Black Sheep from a very wealthy family.He was married with 2 sons,and at 45 decided to become a Crack Head.

Divorced.

Those 2 have been together for a few years.They are doing the Nigerian Prince E-Mail Scam.

I know someone that would have given them $700 if he had it.That $70,000 payout sounds good.

Another buddy's wife got 1 of their E-Mails.She was the girls' boss before the girl lost her Nurse's License for stealing pain pills.My buddies wife is the last person that would be scammed.

But,another guy got approached by them with the Scam.Give them $700 and somehow they use that to magically get $70,000 from the Government.He told my buddy that it sounded legit.He wished he had $700 to give them.
