Grew up near BR, now currently work and live in BR. Plan on working here until i retire. Having visited some family members in Miss, Tenn, etc, i'm happy every time i make it back here. I'd probably like the Houston area but i'm happy where i am
To each his own. LSU makes the city worth living in for us, and i enjoy it along with some good restaurants and shopping is easy being close to whatever is needed

It is pretty strange. It is normally because they have other issues, but want to blame the city they live in. Their life will suck elsewhere also

I still live here but I plan on moving after I graduate
And yea, I'd move back. It's cool to hate on BR and I get that, but I like this city. There is nothing wrong with BR.

i grew up here and im still here but i will move very soon and not come back. baton rouge is too racially divided. thats the biggest problem here. oh and north baton rouge.

Grew up there. Will never move back to BR or Louisiana for that matter. There's nothing there to give me a reason to move back

Nice. It certainly isn't the greatest place I have been, but family and friends trump all for me. I can travel when I get bored.

I understand that many love the city and enjoy living there and I can respect that. To each their own. But don't get upset because I personally think the place sucks. I'm entitled to my own opinion as are you.

I don't see what the draw is to BTR. What is there to do besides LSU and sit in traffic? I get that it's your home, and there can only be one home, but still...
