Not surprising since most saloons also served as restaurants, hotels, whorehouses, and gambling halls.

His daughter was a hooters good. She looked alright but nothing special.

The better question should be who are the power families because Baton Rouge old money is so low key that you don’t know them.

I wouldn’t consider my family old money but we’ve been in BR since the early 1800’s and owned a few plantations.
