I bet if they took a vote most whites would agree to a 10% tax increase for 5 years to pay for the move. They should take it to vote.

The only way to stop racism is to have an all out race war and one of the races not come out alive..

Do the sides have to be even up and all that, same number of combatants, same type and number of weapons, etc?

Last week I set up a phone interview with a guy who had sent in a resume for an open position. When I called there was no answer, so I waited 5 minutes and called back. I emailed him and asked "what happened"? 45 min later I am on the phone and get a call from this guy who leaves a voice-mail. He says he wants me to call him back and talk about "dis job" and "he ain't sure what happen". The intellectuals and media elite will tell you that he was not hired because of institutional racism, but no one wants to hear the truth, because it is too uncomfortable.

To be honest, most black people I know are just your average everyday working Americans.

Exactly! Yet, these people are almost never interviewed or asked to give their opinion on things because - like EVERY OTHER AVERAGE EVERYDAY WORKING AMERICAN (regardless of race or sex)- that doesn't SELL. If it's not controversially over the top, the media has no interest in it.

They (some blacks) keep on alienating the people they think need to change. This will not work.

I have been having a discussion about this bullshite article on facebook all day.

This can be summed up in another two words - "jimmies rustled."

_________ Fragility - The condition is a state in which even a minimum amount of discussion about ____________, the person becomes intolerable, triggering a range of defensive moves. These moves include outward display of emotions such as anger, fear and guilt, and behaviors such as argumentation, silence and leaving the stress-inducing situation.

Insert anything you want into the fill in the blanks...

Seriously, this person just invented a catch all so that they can attempt to win any argument. If you show any emotion, you are guilty of __________ fragility. It's a trollbait article of utter horse shite.

I really like the part where he gets all pissed off about people telling him their thoughts on race when he has a PhD in race relations... You could label that Race Relations PhD fragility and they would be guilty of their own plug and play argument. 20 years of study just to come up with another way to say someone had their jimmies rustled is sad...

What he did not do, at any point, was consider whether being white and male might have given him—if not his ancestors—some advantage in achieving incredible success in America. He did not, in other words, check his privilege.

Being white didn't give anyone an advantage.

Being black gives plenty of people a disadvantage.
Many have overcome that disadvantage, yet some use it as a crutch.

let's split the US up into two nations. whites get one, non-whites get the other.

Would be an interesting and predictable experiment. Better be a very secure wall separating the two.

If we want to be accurate, the race issues are between blacks and non-blacks. All other races, adapt, assimilate and are on the whole, successful, to a point. As a matter of fact, successful blacks are often demonized by their own race. It is the most bizarre thing.

I'll never understand this. It needs to stop. You are not any less black for earning an education and riding a Fortune 500 desk in the suburbs.
