I think the bigger question is "how would you get there?" If you're a fugitive, Alaska will be very difficult to get to. Expect to get shut down at the Canadian border if you travel via land with everything being digital now days. You could pay off a fisherman to use his boat but that's a 50/50 risk Bc of the Coast Guard. If you stayed in the continents US, it's just a matter of time before you're tracked down.
Best bet is to cross the Mexican border and continue driving/hiking/bussing/boating all the way down to Patagonia. Some SA countries may have strict borders so I'd stay local and coastal. Find out which borders can be crossed via land and which I'd need to charter a boat. SA water presence isn't nearly as large as the US so as long as you can pay off a fishing vessel, you could make it all the way down. Could take months but if you calculate your movements, it would be the best option. I'd grow a beard, long hair, and gain weight. Patagonia is as so or more remote than Alaska. You could stay there a while to figure out your next move.
