But only 12 days into bells his face would be fricked
Days 7-15 are the worst of it. It sucked
ETA: just realized you asked about GBS and not bells. Not as familiar with that but the one friend who had it was fricked up for a while. Thought it was a pretty serious issue

I’m sure there are outliers like everything else, but my neurologist said I was one of the lucky ones and had about the best case possible
And that was
No taste in one side and slight twitching for 2 days
Then couldn’t purse lip or fully blink for 2 or so days
Then about 10 days of full no eye closure or mouth movement. Taping your eye shut to sleeps absolutely blows after that it was about 15 days of very gradual recovery
Look, I’m sure I will get downvoted again, but still holding out “hope” it was GBS or Bells after today where the pictures from Halloween, the wedding, and his appearance happened seems even more cringe to me
And that was

Every case of Bell's Palsy is completely different. Some are subtle and some end up being permanent. Two of my friends have ended up with BP over the last year, one after recovering from Covid and one after getting the vax. Fortunately both were minor cases that resolved quickly.

I agree. No one should be hoping for him to have a complication. And if he was in public more than likely he doesn’t have one of these complications.
But when you become an authoritarian like Newsom and blatantly violate your own mandates you are going to have a target on your back
