Business community made a mistake here.
After qualifying, the media anointed Charbonnet, Latoya, and Bagneris as the only candidates that mattered. Rather than the business community getting behind Henry, who they wanted, and pushing him... they freaked out.
No way they will support Community Organizer LaToya, and they want nothing to do with Morial 3.0 Charbonnet, so they threw their money behind Bagneris. Not because they particularly liked or supported him... but he was the least bad of the three.
Now Bagneris isn't going to make the runoff... and for the runoff they are going to have to get behind Morial 3.0.
