interesting question posed by the OP. i think the answer is that women are currently in a collective state of somethign resembling disbelief that their voting patterns have gotten us all here. the Left has been preying about their emotions and (generally speaking) higher levels of empathy for votes, and they (women) truly believed that a vote for the Left was a vote for GOOD and a vote against the evil, woman/gay/minority/whatever-hating conservatives.
i am somewhat optimistic that while women's voting patterns are what got us here, many of those same women could save us. we'll see. the alternative is pretty dark.

The real question is how long do y'all reckon biological men will be competing in women's sports? To what end? Take the old boy who is winning all the collegiate swimming events...outside of their being something of a celebrity in the moment considering the amount of crap heaped on their head will it be worthwhile going forward? Seems like a wrestling with a Hog scenario to me....yes, some will do it in the short term and women will suffer from not winning but in the long term, when the dust is settled, who is going to want to be remembered as the best biological male swimmer in the history of female collegiate swimming????

Women are probably realists...like all Americans they have a choice between left and right politically. The left apparently thinks its a good idea for biological men to compete in women's sports. The right thinks it is a good idea for the state to mandate to women what kind of medical procedure and prescription drugs they have access to without any input from medical professionals or the individual woman themselves. Between the 2 a man playing softball on a womans softball team is pretty benign....

Somewhere around 500,000 "females" compete in high school and collegiate athletics. about 50 of these are biological males. Those 50 have won almost nothing competing against biological females and have been villified to the point that not many will want to follow their lead...rightfully villified, in my opinion. It is a fear based on a problem that does not exist...but it is deblitating for many who are TERRIFIED that womens Lacrosse is going to be over run with men in dresses LOL.

I could care less one way or the other...if a biological male wants to participate in the special olympics that are women's sports it has no impact on me or mine. It's embarassing for women to participate...being the best biological male athlete in a women's sport is like being the skinniest kid at fat camp...its women's sports...no one cares.
What is amusing though is how bent out of shape some folks are over it...that is some funny shite

I have a daughter who loves softball. Will she ever play college? Statistically, probably not. But if she has to play against boys, statistically the answer is absolutely not. This issue isn’t going away just bc you say it will, or just bc you’re too edgy to care about it.
