It's got to be the 60s, huh? The hippie movement. The anti-Vietnam war movement. The civil rights movement. Those actually lead to major shifts in the USA.

Probably the Rodney King bullshite.
The black community's form of protesting is base rioting, looting, and general primal destruction, so it counts.
It set a precedent of a civil disobedience which has completely permeated the young and middle-age black population for the worst- a total disregard for law and order as well as their own well-being; it has ushered in an era of stunning petulance within the black/SJW community, the effects of which continue to snowball to this day.
