Best Buy/HD/Lowe's/Costco buying online or floor models are the best way to go anyway. I believe Costco will ship for free and take your old appliance at no charge.

Bought a washer from Lowes a year ago. It was in stock. They had plenty in stock.

Same. Finding a unit in stock was easy. Finding an associate to help fulfill the online purchase was damn near impossible.
