Not a fan of all the bright colors either. Nike caters to the Asian market which is obsessed with the neons.

This might not be the case in your local sporting goods store, but you should be able to find some basic styles on the Nike website or a place like Eastbay. If not, you can create your own colorways on a lot of shoes on the Nike website. But, I can understand being annoyed at paying a premium for basic colors.

Nike puts out colors no one wants so you will pay an extra 50 bucks to create your own colors on Nike ID. Good marketing on their part but shitty for a person looking for "normal" shoes.
