If Africa is indeed the cradle of civilization why didn’t they evolve to be the ones fricking with everyone else? They had a huge head start.

I would trade all of our problem people for theirs any day. Highest educated island down there. Yes, they have a few bad elements, who doesn’t? For the most part some pretty decent people.

A successful Cuba could change the entire hemisphere or at least the region.

If you read “Caribbean” by Michener, even though it’s considered fiction, it gives a pretty good historical explanation for this.
