Maybe it’s because older women (later in life) opened my eyes. If 16 year old me wasn’t irreparably damaged by some 19 year old tang I don’t see what some 33 year old poonany would have been much different

Remember when NYC had a non working school where they put their pedo teachers because the union was too strong to fire them? I remember that from over a decade ago.

That’s the sticky wicket. I’d say it rests in that the girl can get pregnant.
Now, back in the day that would usually mean a shotgun wedding if it was someone that could provide for her, sending her off to “stay with her aunt” and then her suddenly returning with a little sister if the man wasn’t one of worth.
It’s nature, damnable nature that stirs all these hormones designed to get us to mate after puberty hits. And yes it isn’t fair...but nature is cruel.
Basically boils down to there is a different set of rules for boys and girls.
And let’s not act like a girl in her later teens isn’t able to use her sexuality to get what she wants.
We’re still fighting Stone Age biology in a Brave New World and we don’t quite have a handle on it yet

Morally having sex out of wedlock is the issue. Ages of the wed isnt an issue in the eyes of God. So 2 unwed 20 somethings having sex are sinning, not a 40 yo man having sex with his pubescent wife for the first time on their wedding night. No matter her age.

Still developing. It’s like a budding rose versus one in full bloom. Those extra couple years mean a LOT. Both physically and psychologically.
Unfortunately aspects of this modern world try to sexualize them so goddamn young.

I agree 100% with the second part, but it's our fault when we try to say it's no big deal when a boy the same age humps an older teacher dirty. Though there are some 14 yos that are way more developed then some 16yos
I heard a radio caller once that was in his 70s that lost his innocence (as he put it) to an older woman when he was like 15. Said it ruined his sexual life as he was nver able to find the same. Strain in his marriage, and he praised his wife of 40-50 yrs for putting up with him when it came to it. So young boys arent developed enough either.
