I love kids. Being with kids makes me act like a kid.

She's a little fashion girl. She was putting work outfits together for me. She probably did a better job than I would have

I was the same.
Start saving now. My dad said I was more expensive to raise than both my older brothers combined. I’m just lucky I found someone to indulge me with my stupid girly habits.

watching them grow up and learn things, numerous football and baseball games. I was blessed with a kid that was a good athlete, that made it even better. Watching him graduate last year and start another chapter in his life. Advice that I give almost off of younger parents is, enjoy every moment you can, because they are grown and out on their own before you know it. I have 3, and the 3rd just graduated high school last year and now works for the State of Arkansas. Good times.

Was your mom really feminine? My wasn't so I guess I was/am tom boyish. I talk with my dad about nature v. nurture a lot, because I was adopted and so was my sister (who is actually my first cousin). I ended up with a degree and independent, and she is a 21 yo train wreck. Raised by the same parents, different genes.
What traits do you have that you see in your son, Bella?

Mine is girly and a little bit tomboy. She loves nothing more than dad to take her fishing. I brought her offshore last year with my buddy and his daughter.
I'll never forget her face when she landed a 40 lb tuna.

Idk....it’s weird because I was the youngest of 4. Two older brothers and a handicap sister. My mom didn’t have the luxury of being overtly feminine. I never played with doll and had a Green Machine bike. It’s like a switch went off and I wanted makeup and clothes.
My son is extremely kind, very responsible and works really hard but he gets that from both sides. They say he looks like me but I see more of his dad in him. Looks better on him

See I was like this. I loved to hunt with my dad and fish.

If someone thinks that's creeper, I worry about them. We are talking about being a dad...

Sounds like you are raising a good man. Kudos to you. I can't imagine the fear, pride and extreme emotions that come with being a parent. I admire the strength of people who do it successfully.

Going to watch them play ball is a favorite. Another when they were 12 or 13 we got a basketball goal. Lowered it so they could dunk. They loved to dunk on Dad and talk trash...fun times.
