Whole New York strip loin is $7/lb. You can get them to cut into 1.5" steaks that you can vacuum seal and freeze. Choice grade, but high quality choice. Prime is $10-12/lb I think.

I live close by and have kids. The savings on milk alone is worth the cost of membership.

This all depends on where you live. Kroger is cheaper for most of what I buy here in Nashville. Costco is definitely cheaper for certain things, but it's not huge savings on most items that I buy.
