We go to Pensacola.seems like a lot of LSU people go there. Always see lots of LSU flags and tailgate tents set up on the beach

Most Louisiana rednecks take their purple & gold crocs to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and ruin it for 3 months.

It'll still be a good time. It could end up being more chill with the US not participating. I actually tried to convince my wife to go to Russia for the WC this cycle but she wasn't having it. She has this idea that the entire place looks like Stalingrad circa winter of 1942.

go to alvin's, float on a noodle too far from shore, drink and get belligerent in the sand.
meet up with other louisiana drunk people and form a mega cluster of drunks.

I want to go to one abroad, but I'm not going to Qatar. Honestly, if the US/Can/Mex bid didn't win, Morocco would be awesome.
I'll be in the UK for their first match, so it'll be fun to watch it at a pub at least.

Driving up to the north shore for a day on the beach (about 30 minutes away), going to Portland, Maine and hitting up breweries and sitting by the water, hiking some of the easier trails in Vermont. Those are the usuals.
Going to head to Cape Cod this summer as well. Maybe Martha’s Vineyard too.
Specifically this summer I’ll be going to London during Wimbledon. Should be a cool experience.
