We have gas heat and the highest ours has ever been is maybe $80.

This old house has terrible insulation and drafty windows. The door to the crawl space is also rotted letting in a ton of air under the house. The ductwork was measured incorrectly, so the heat mostly pumps into two rooms and is just a trickle everywhere else.

It’s a rental, so I can’t do much myself. Just continue saving until we get the down payment ready for a house.

Why? That's an uncomfortable inside temp to me.

Normally I’d be freezing my baguettes off at this temp, but I’m reading a steamy novel.

You could be 88 and 120lbs naked and that would still be too hot.

68 in the LR. Bedroom is probably 64 as it’s on the northwest corner.
