If you got them a present, they already have it on the gift table (or in their home if you gave it at a shower) by the time you realize they're doing a money dance.
Granted, you aren't required to participate if they do the money dance. But I imagine if no one participated, it would be really awkward.

Here in B.R., the reception had a guy playing acoustic guitar and singing. One of the songs he played was Lying Eyes by the Eagles. I thought it was strange to play a cheating song at a wedding reception but no one else seemed to notice. Yes, the couple is still married.
