Have to admit, Bacchus blew it this year. Huey Lewis gets the flu, doesn’t perform. No back up band. Just had the opening act, a shitty local cover band, play the whole time.
Why not just ask the act from Endymion (Rod Stewart this year) to play?

It sucked Huey didn't play, but the ball was awesome. The DJ was pretty good in between the bands.

Are you sure you were actually there? There were two bands and a DJ. The opening band was the "Wiseguys" they are probably the best dance band in the New Orleans area. The crowd didn't seem to have a issue with the DJ that took Huey Lewis's spot, and there was another band after that who were also very good.
