Someone who know your vehicle sits next to you. Previously you read up on your vehicle.
Push in that clutch. Listen. Feel it. Do again. You will get the sounds and feel. Move the stick. Slowly let up on clutch. Awww, you stalled. Ok. Release hand brake first. Et cetera.

Do it in remote location or empty parking lot without people honking at you and traffic to die in. In 10 minutes you will have the basics. Uphill from stop is graduate school. Downshifting will test you.

Breathe and laugh.

Both my sons learned using this (top speed about 40-45, pretty indestructible clutch)

My dad took me a few times to teach me and I knew the basics but wasn't comfortable on my own.

Then I got a girlfriend who drove a stick shift. I learned pretty damn quick because she never wanted to drive and I always drove her car.
