I will NEVER fault any employee for leaving the company to improve their life. Whether it's a better opportunity, moving, health reasons, etc. I know that I will leave any job if it's in the best interest of my family, and I expect my superiors to feel the same.

If they are truly as close to you as you say they are, then they will understand.

Put you and your family first.

Blind loyalty to a single company without regard to the impact on your health, life, and relationships is not a good idea. If times got tough, they'd let you go, and move on. Might feel a little bad about it, but probably not.
