The fella said the darker tints with ceramic have more heat absorption than the lighter ones…due to the nature of the ceramic properties. Counterintuitive for sure.

There are also different quality ceramics. I used Llumar on our vehicles

I have astigmatism and have had Lasik so I get bad halos sometimes, so it's actually an improvement for me.

If your vehicle doesn't look trashy, you don't look trashy, and you're not putting yourself in trashy situations, law enforcement seems to be pretty uninterested.

Ive been having my current truck with its current tint for almost 10 years now. Never had any issues with the police before over the tint. Hell when i went to get the truck tinted, the guy came out and asked me how dark i wanted to go and they had 2 uniformed officers in there when he asked me. I looked at them and they laughed and said they wont mess with me. But the state inspection people have given me a hard time the last 2 times ive gone to get new inspection stickers.
