Yea, I'm kind of torn. The large or XL egg or whatever they call offers a little more cooking area (I think, very well could be wrong on this) than the Primo XL from what I understand, but I like the Oval shape of the Primo over the round share of the Egg. Its easier to cook larger pieces of meat and also easier to cook indirect on. At least from what I read. If I were given either I would complain a bit though, just personal preference from what I've read.
Price is pretty much a push between the two.
