Interesting thread. There was not one moment, just happened over time. Anyone else have the following issue?
I live in Alabama, own and operate a successful small business. I'm married with 3 kids. Involved in my community.
I keep my religious beliefs to myself. Have not even told my wife that I don't believe. We only attend church for Christmas, Easter, weddings or funerals. I'm so far in the closet, the only time I discuss this is on an anonymous board like this one. I have to believe there are MANY like me. It's easier too just not rock the boat.

Do you really have enough faith to believe that you ability to think occurred by random chance? Our memory, intellect, and will are what departs us from the animals. Without this we are nothing more than animals.
Your faith in randomness creating the universe appears to be very great.
My faith is that God created the universe for a specific purpose. This is far more reasonable than creation by randomness.
