Worked in a branch library after school, think the job was called library page. Two & a half hours after school every weekday, 40 cents an hour. Age 12, thought I was rich.

Started out building crab cages for Souvenir City in Biloxi, MS. Also tagged other pieces of merchandise in the warehouse and folded towels/t-shirts. Was promoted to t-shirt screening before the end of the summer.

14, I was the score keeper at a baseball field. I had to put out the bases and then pick them up, keep the score and announce the batters. Paid $11 game/6 games a week. Then I got promoted to Metro league. That was $18 game and 5 games a week. $150 bucks a week cash for a 14yo. Perks were getting free food and blowies from the concession stand girls.
