Sorry for your loss. I was fortunate enough to save many family pics before the flood, but lost many keepsakes in the process due to flood of 16. Most every personal keep sake I had at my dads we lost to Harvey when he took on 12 feet of water. Tough year. My dad had a St Louis Cardinal baseball program autographed by Stan Musial before a game in the 50s. Losing that was tough on my dad, more because of the memories he had with his dad. I would say at this point anything we have left of the kids stuff from growing up is priceless to me.

That’s what I’m thinking. It’s just a couple pieces of exterior 1x4. Probably total 30-36”

Best of luck and you'll enjoy it even more once it's done!!

I'll buy it off you. The LP custom in black is my favorite guitar, love that '59 feel

Every guitarist friend I have that’s seen it wants to buy it.
It’s in nearly perfect condition, aside from the gold wearing off the hardware. Got an amazing deal when I bought it - a music store in Metairie was going out of business, and I got it for $599. They were double that at the time at other stores.

my cousin luke died 5 years ago on the 11th of this month.
We grew up together and He was like my brother. I still haven't been able to delete his number from my contacts, and a pillow from his bed stays on mine.
I used to think it was crazy how people would grieve, until it happened to me, and now I never question it anymore.

I've got a small wooden cross that my grandmother had that she hung on the wall in her living room. I hang it above my doorframe so every time I leave the house I remember her. I miss her...
