That reminds me of a funny story... one of my buddies is a state senator and one night he was talking about this very same dynamic. I jokingly said, “Watch out Mr. Family-values-Republican- that’ll get you in trouble”. He shot back with, “Republican just means I’m in the senate with a bunch of guys in the closet”.
