Charlotte. Fescue. Sucks.
Much more labor intensive than I would like. Of course, doesn’t help that the previous owners didn’t do crap. When I bought the house I literally couldn’t get a shovel in the ground in the front yard. It was basically cement. A few years of aeration, 2x a year over seed, 2x a year lime, 2x a year peat moss, and all the other normal stuff and the yard looks almost average.

I feel your pain. I hate that wimpy arse grass. About to change the whole thing over to Bermuda. Tired if busting my arse and spending a fortune every year only to have it die when it gets above 78 degrees.
