What Kind of Discount off MSRP Can Should Be Expected on a 2016 F-150?

Just wondering what should be expected this time of year on a prior year model? I've haggled at the end of a calendar year, but never this late on a prior year model. Not really looking for vehicle, but if it was too good to pass up I would go for it. To be more specific, 4X4 Lariat "ish" model.

got about 16k off msrp with dealer discount and rebates on a 2016 fx4 SCREW. Tack on negotiated down a little bit. They didnt have much to budge on though. Still got it for 10% under invoice.
I was around 36,500 out the door.

With or without the nutz?

You should be able to get at least $12k off sticker plus 0% APR on financing for a leftover 2016. Honestly, that's what they should be advertising, so you should be able to do better than that.

I said F-150, not F-250.

Complimentary pair of medium size truck nuts. Large is reserved for F250s

shite, its almost a 2 years prior model. 2018's should be hitting the dealership lots soon.

Best sales tool car dealerships ever came up with. Suckers.

Find a Chevy dealership and get a real truck

Just ask the salesman if it's a good deal. They have to tell you the truth. It's like, the law and stuff

Most people I know that have Chevys don't like them. Everyone of them has door handles that rip off. No matter the year. Old or new. Chevys are cheaply constructed.

I agree. All the ones I've ever ridden in felt "loose" and had some sort of rattle. Guy at work gave me a ride to the tire shop the other day and he has one less than a year old. My '09 Ford rides, sounds, and just feels 100X better.

Dunno, but make sure to get an 84 month loan. Seems to be all the rage in the OT.

I would guess a 2016 should be significantly discounted if it's still new and on the lot. Is it a dealer driver with miles on it?
