One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh no,' I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' "He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. 'I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.

Sorry but this sucks. I hope he didn't get in the car thinking you were actually taking him to Disneyland.

Playing pranks on your kids is one thing, but humiliating them on the internet is on another level. I don’t get it either.

I've been scaring my kids since before they were born. One time my wife walked by my air compressor when she was 8 months pregnant, pulling the relief valve almost resulted in premature birth. She laughed later.

I've only seen 2 of them and both involved kids that looked to be about 12 years old. I thought it was funny as hell. These kids were old enough to know better but apparently dumb as frick.

I scared my son ONCE as a toddler. Just a generic "boo". But for whatever reason I really go t him. I was not filming it. I felt awful. His response initially was to turtle up and close his eyes. Other than parents that's all a toddler has for defense. Close their eyes.

I felt awful and never did it again. I can't imagine filming that and then putting it online or continuing to film? Or continuing the "joke" and not comforting the child is nuts.
