What Is The Worst Scene You Ever Witnessed In Person?
On this very night, ten years ago, along this same stretch of road in a dense fog just like this. I saw the worst accident I ever seen. There was this sound, like a garbage truck dropped off the Empire State Building. And when they finally pulled the driver's body from the twisted, burning wreck. It looked like this!...

The aftermath of the tornado that ravaged Tuscaloosa in April 2011. I was a student there at the time and watched the tornado from a parking deck in downtown Tuscaloosa as it ripped through the southern part of the city. When I saw the damage it had caused the experience was very sobering and it isn't a sight I will ever forget.

KOREA, 1962 or 1963: A young Korean woman was walking along the dirt/mud road. A ROK (Republic of Korea) tank ran completely over her.

VIETNAM (1965-66): Needless to say I saw a LOT of carnage there, but you expect that in a war. Her death and complete mutilation was different.

Watched about 40 dudes get burned alive while trying to scoop up spilled gasoline from a turned over tanker truck in west africa. Most were teenagers and little kids.

Combat in Iraq...too many scenes to try and count!! The heat, the sounds, the smells....the absolute paralyzing fear...when you're just a kid yourself, trying to survive in a place 9,000 miles from home! It makes you grow up in a dam instant. That kind of stuff never..ever..leaves your memory!

David Allan Coe seems to think that park is pretty cool.

Truck bomb on a bridge in Iraq. Was mid-summer and there were tons of kids swimming under it when it went off. Seen a lot of death but that one stuck with me. One little girl had her eyes still open I still have nightmares about that.
