I think it really just depends on the person. I think it's perfectly fine for growing children to consume regular milk for it's calcium and fat content. However, if you are trying to lose fat and lean up then dairy isn't your best option. If limiting fat content is important to you then coconut milk or almond milk is a great alternative.
And I know coconut and almond milk is not real milk.
