Seems to me like there isn’t really a speed limit in BR. The signs are 70, 65, 60, and 50 in some spots, but I know people are going 80-90, and probably even higher than that, yet I never see cops pulling people over for speeding in BR. Shoot, I’ve passed cops going 85 on the interstate before, and they never came after me. So, how fast do you have to go for a cop to pull you over for speeding in BR?

Get the hell out of the fast lane and be quite old man.

The only cops I see are in denham on i12 when I’m heading west

They’ll hideout under the split heading east sometimes. Or they used to, don’t travel that way often anymore

Whatever speed you feel comfortable driving.

The elevated portion if 110 between 190 and the Governor's Mansion Curve is a free for all regarding speed. It's b/c the regular drivers know cops don't post up often on this elevated stretch. I drove it daily for 15 years and saw a couple of vehicles every day going 90+mph.

This shite here is a literal drag strip.

Even if you feel like they’re not gonna come after you, that’s pretty dumb.

It really is. I know I've been passed by people going 100+. My question is how the hell would the cops speed trap it? Theres no shoulders even on the entrance ramps

Speed cameras.

I-110 is a combination of Mad Max and the Autobahn.

The average speed I go on the interstate in Baton Rouge is 87, so much fun to take the exits at 60 mph

Unless you get stopped by a State Trooper on the interstate, you're very unlikely to get stopped by a cop in Baton Rouge for a traffic violation unless you do something really stupid.

Whatever is beyond the safe speed threshold on a Nissan Altima with a spare tire.

They'd need a license plate on the car to even get the ticket.

If you get pulled over, try the gunshot defense.

I thought I heard a gunshot, so I was getting the hell away. Could've been a car backfiring, but I'm not taking any chances. I trust my driving more than I do my luck.

Works every time.

ETA: in EBR only.
