re: What is the point of protests?

The problem I have with these protestors is that they are protesting the dumbest stuff.

Go protest when someone is legitimately killed by cops when they are doing nothing wrong. Stop protesting when someone is resisting arrest, especially if they have a weapon.

All their protests tell me is that they don't want cops to be able to protect themselves.

I haven't heard a single argument from them that doesn't completely distort facts and ignore statistics.
