Definitely up there. Back in college had a neighbor with one, and she absolutely loved me and vice versa. I was her main daily male interaction as she lived with all girls. She was so sweet she had me "eating out of her paw" when I would babysit her.
My neighbors would make fun of it as she wouldn't act with any other male like she would with me. I was her "boyfriend". To the point she would get all excited and jump up to the door when they would say either my actual name our say "time to go see your boyfriend".
Sweet beautiful dog. RIP girl.

As someone who’s owned both a massive Alaskan Malamute & a tiny Shih Tzu’s….it’s the Shihtzu, not even close. Lol
