re: What is the best place you have ever been to?

Up in the Canadian Rockies west of Calgary, mid summer, clear day, didn't see another person all day long. Those mountains still had snow on them, the melt waters were clear and not too cold and the elevation was a lot more people friendly than the Rockies west of Denver.

(I was up there for a month managing our office until the full time guy could come, and rest of the time I was in Houston where it had been summer for three months already)
