4+7=11+21=32
5+8=13+32=45
6+9=15+45=60
7+10=17+60=77
So 8+11=19+77=96
Pretty simple. Follow the sequence.

I follow you're logic, uptowntiger84 , but occam's razor is my way of coming up with 30.

So who would be okay with teaching their children that 2+5= 12 and 3+6=21? This is fricking stupid. Middle 2 answers are wrong, plain and simple. I understand the sequence but that is not how math works. Answer is 19 and anyone who say otherwise are dumber than the people who said the dress was gold and brown.

I recommend you start a name change thread on the help board. I recommend your new username will be DAdumbass bully.

Rummy and/or Fred, have y'all had a chance to see the math thread in the OT?

I would like to see y'alls opinions.

Yes... You didn't know that? Basically any and all forms of social media pay out for viral posts. Twitter, instagram, Facebook, YouTube. Etc.

I think there are about 4 "correct answers". Kind of makes an interesting, but bad thread. At least some of us are having fun.

I can see that answer being correct, as well. Great thread, OP.

That the other equations have incorrect answers or that there are patterns that can be derived from the other equations are irrelevant. There are no valid mathematical operations indicated that would have you incorporate the other equations shown or the numbers contained within to obtain a answer. The only valid unanswered question being asked is what is 8+11, which is obviously 19

Which is the same answer as when I had this question on a math test in the 8th grade in 1969
